Ben and Ashley had the perfect combo of priorities. Beautiful garden ceremony with an all out party for their family and closest friends to kick off their nuptials!
Silver Lake Country Club was the perfect backdrop for a greenery filled garden style wedding and did not disappoint! Directly after the ceremony an all brass trio "2nd line" followed them out of their ceremony recession...New Orleans style to kick off the party!!
After the dust has settled, the drinks were drunk, and the dancing shoes were worn in, we had an opportunity to chat with Ashley & Ben about their wedding day and the planning process... see what they shared with us below!
Wedicity: Why did you choose to use a wedding planner? How did a wedding planner benefit your day?
A+B: Wedicity helped us pull everything together. As much as I like to think I can do everything all by myself, the big day was approaching quickly and there was still so much to finalize. Tionna gave me a list of what still needed to be done, came up with questions/details I hadn't even thought of, and a day-of timeline for my family & wedding party.
Wedicity: What advice would you give to engaged couples about their upcoming wedding day?
A+B: Hire a planner sooner than later, especially if you're an entrepreneur or in sales. Your productivity and business will suffer!
Wedicity: What was the most important thing for you on your wedding day?
A+B: The women in my family are used to having to help set up, execute, etc. during other family weddings, so they aren't able to enjoy themselves as much. Tionna and her team handled everything the entire day, even through our after party. I was so happy my family was able to relax and celebrate with us.
Wedicity: How did you choose your wedding ambiance (theme, color palette, location choice and feel for the day). Any special details that were really important to you in the process?
A+B: A band was huge for us. We love live music and wanted to throw a party, & boy, did we! We are still receiving compliments on the band.
Wedicity: What were your requirements when selecting a wedding planner (what sealed the deal with Wedicity?).
A+B: Tionna is organized, well communicated, & a problem solver who operates with poise when under pressure. She was recommended by someone who worked with her on numerous events, so I knew we were in good hands.
